Bookmanthan is the official online bookstore launched by Blackspine Publishing Private Limited in April 2025. Our mission is to provide easy access to high-quality and enriching books that empower readers of all ages.

We begin our journey with a curated selection of school books and will soon expand into various categories and subjects. We're proud to offer premium international educational content from the renowned Singapore Asia Publisher, a global leader in educational publishing.

Established in 2012, Blackspine Publishing is driven by a team of seasoned education professionals dedicated to transforming the learning landscape. All our titles are aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, promoting holistic, learner-centric growth across cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions.

Santosh Verma – Founder & Consultant (Gratis)

With 27 years of experience in the K–12 education sector, Santosh Verma has been the visionary behind Blackspine’s success. He currently serves as Co-founder and Managing Director at Dynos Education India Pvt. Ltd., continuing to support Blackspine as a strategic consultant and content advisor.

Renu Kaul – Director, Publishing

A publishing veteran with over two decades of editorial excellence, Renu leads Blackspine’s publishing initiatives. Her clarity-driven approach to content and teacher support tools ensures effective curriculum delivery. She also heads Vitasta Publishing Private Limited, known for its bold, thought-provoking titles.

Sanjay Bhatnagar – Business Director

With 35+ years of experience in FMCG and media, Sanjay brings strategic marketing and sales leadership to Blackspine. Formerly with The Times of India Group, he played a key role in launching successful platforms and leading the Times Group Books division, publishing over 800 titles.

Binita Verma – Director, HR & Admin

Binita ensures operational excellence at Blackspine through her expertise in backend management and human resources. Her strategic oversight helps streamline processes and maintain smooth organizational functioning.

V. Sudesh – Chairman

An M.Phil from JNU and a first-class Master’s in English Literature, V. Sudesh brings academic depth and policy insight to the company. As Chairman, he steers the team toward delivering top-quality, curriculum-aligned educational content while fostering team growth and motivation.
